We work with founders, engineers, established companies, and overseas counsel on U.S. patent applications, responses to patent examiners, and portfolio decisions. We explain the options in ordinary language so you can make informed decisions about scope, timing, and investment.

Practical fees. Clearly defined work.

Cost should be part of the conversation from the beginning. We discuss the proposed work and fee arrangement before engagement, including whether a defined phase is suitable for a flat fee. Government fees, outside expenses, and later stages of a patent matter are considered separately so the scope is clear.

Dallas and Orlando. U.S. patent representation.

Our offices are in Dallas, Texas, and Orlando, Florida. Vik represents clients before the USPTO, including businesses and inventors located elsewhere in the United States and overseas. State law representation depends on the attorney's admissions and the matter.
